Have now owned this car for about 9 months and covered 10k miles. Very impressed so far. It is comfortable, reliable and does what it says on the tin. Will never set your pulse rating, but that is not the point of a Corolla. The engine is lively if y... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
Purchased car new on 30/10/06 - previous car a Mazda 323 1.6 GXI. Surprised how well the Corolla compares performance wise, considering that the Corolla is heavier. Very pleased with the Toyota, and received a discount of Ł 1500 on the list price. Co... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
I have just had this car back from its 100,000 miles service. It is not yet 5 years old, so has had a lot of use made out of it. In all these miles it has had two new light bulbs and a set of discs and pads. It has been ultra reliable and as it is a ... Great value car. Paid extra for spoiler and reverse sensors and was worth the money. So far had nearly 20k trouble free miles from new. Sporty engine and good on petrol and as always for Toyota full of extras - electric windows / wing mirrors, adj... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
I ran this for almost 4 years, covered 33000 miles from new. The only problem was an irritating rattle behind the dash (fixed under warranty by the very efficient local dealer). Urban consumption never dropped below 33mpg and on long distance runs 45... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
This was the car we replaced our 2001 RAV with (commented earlier that we were looking for 'more fun'!) Well, the fun and games did start immediately: no gas in the aircon and signs of the infamous centre console problem (it parts company wi... A high-quality, well-built car. I think it's nicely styled too - not exciting, but neat, and not as bland as some. The 1.6 VVTi engine is lovely - willing and flexible, and fairly economical (I average just over 40mpg). Purrs along the motorway nicel... My last car was a w reg Honda civic ,which I considered a good car.Reliable ,but the rear brakes would "click" which was irritating. The Corolla is far better. It feels solid, everything has a quality feel about it.In every aspect it is just that litt... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
Bought this car ex-demo after a lot of searching. I wanted a medium sized economical diesel and I have certainly found one, 57-63mpg so far. Drove the Citroen C4 (great ride but no left foot rest and a lousy gear change), new Ford Focus (v. noisy at ... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
I`ve had this car 5 years now .I`ve never had a car so long before., and I`ve kept it because it`s reliable. I have just taken delivery of my new Toyota Corolla Verso T Spirit MMT - wow - what a lovely car I was previously the owner of a Renault Scenic (R - 1998) and decided the time was right to change. This car rocks; it has plenty of space for the kids ... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
Fully specified up, so it feels like a mini Lexus. Some parts, like the stalks and door panelling, feel cheap and the instrument panel looks like it is made of paper and the reversing sensors are a bit oversensitive Overall, though, it's still a goo... Lovely to drive and very reliable. A good choice overall.
Can you correct my email address please - there is a missing letter "e" thanks
Very smooth automatic gear box, a little heavier on petrol than a manual but its less stressfull. Good solid car and reliable but my gripe is this- BUILD QUALITY. Quite a number of rattles from the rear tail gate area and dash board. Quality ... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.

GREAT FUN,altough engine dose boom a bit for long runs.No major or minor problems to report, one recall from new. This is a great car to have fun in,ITS A WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING.
I have 1 major gripe about all the group reviews I see for this car on other websites / magazines: It's always compared to the Type R Civic, which I think is really unfair on this car. I believe the Civic to be in a class of it's own when it comes to... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.

I bought this car in March 2002 and since then it has done 47,000 trouble free miles. I have had the back seats folded down and carried lots of goods in it. I bought my T3 1.4 Corolla from new and continue to be impressed with it. I drive it gently and it has done an average of 46 mpg from new! (Yes - it's a petrol - honest!) Bought this car second hand. It had previously belonged to Toyota. It's been nothing but trouble ever since. Had the VVT unit replaced twice. Several other minor faults have occurred. Currently having problems starting the car.
Ex-demo; faults started soon after purchase: - engine, steering, brakes, continuous vibration from underneath, enough to cause pins and needles in hands and legs, rear view mirror shaken loose again, dealer refutes liability
I have now had my Corolla for almost 4 years and still reckon I bought a good 'un! Since buying the car from new, I've driven 52,000 miles and in that time it's averaged 46.4 mpg which ain't bad for a petrol engine and shames a few diesels. However t... Bought the Corolla 8 months ago at 36K (low mileage for 5 year old car) and it has been a delight. The 1600cc engine is nippy and it can overtake when needed. I have added 2 litres of oil in 8 months and a new pair of windscreen wipers It starts eve... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
Mine is the SRi and it's one of the most reliable cars I have ever had I've done nearly 70K miles and only had one problem, a dud battery that happened recently. 1998 lift back 5 door 1.6 (frog eye headlamps ) I bought this car second hand, and can honestly say never noticed them on the road before, sort of blend in to background, they ‘re that unremarkable to look at. A good reliable all-rounder. Quick enough on the motorway, small enough around town. Only 2 doors so getting into the back is a problem for larger folks but I am happy with it.
If you want a car that is 100% reliable try one of these. It won't do much for your street cred, but if like me you just want a car that won't give you any hassle this is one to check out.
Well, I haven't had this car long but am pretty impressed so far. It's certainly better looking than its super-ugly successor - from the back especially, it looks quite cool. I quite like the fact that it doesn't really have an image - is that a sign... To read the FULL REVIEW, click here - Its FREE to browse, you just need to register.
I bought this car from a friend a few years ago, it had already done 110,000 miles. It now has 132,000 and still going strong. Its been 99.9% reliable. I bought the Corolla about two years ago, and have added about 20K miles to the clock. It's on 97K miles now, and it's still rock-solid. This is not an exciting car. It is however a very good one. It won't raise your blood pressure, which sometimes is nice. Use it to get to work and you will arrive relaxed The 1.6 16valve will mean you can overtake, but you won't want to. You know ... Great. Got hit in the back by a lady in a Citroen. Her car was badly smashed in, but the Corolla had a scratch on the bumper. Really great car, and everything still works on it.
I bought this car two years ago. It has 141,000 miles on the clock and it is the most problem free, reliable car I have ever owned. It has hardly cost me a penny.
Got the car 2nd hand 10 years ago, it's only one ever had (since I have owned it) 1 full service. Car still runs like a dream, minimal rust. Only ever replaced the exhaust a couple of times. I know nothing about cars, just how to drive. Fab car!!!
